Black Panther achieved countless box office records during its five-week run in the box office. But combined with the debut of A Wrinkle in Time, these two films collectively hit a major milestone; for the first time in box office history, films both led and directed by Black people hold the top two spots in the U.S. box office. What makes this even more special is that A Wrinkle in Time is starred by a young black princess (plus Oprah as God — a life’s dream come true) PLUS a leading single by two young black songstresses — Chloe and Halle. In celebration of all of this black girl excellence, here is a style guide of all of the looks from Warrior, featuring all black owned brands/boutiques. Make sure to give the song a listen and check out their album The Kids Are Alright.
